Coyote Buttes North (Arizona & Utah)
Coyote Buttes North is probably my prefered place on Earth and I can't resist to visit this aera (9 times until now) when I travel in its vicinity.
Even if The Wave is undoutbly its crown jewel, Coyote Buttes North has much more to offer for those who look for unusual and photogenic rock formations.
This area is protected by a permit system, and you will have numerous competitors to obtain your permit, but it is easy to access by car on dry conditions.
Please respect the permit system and tread lightly on the fragile slickrock, especially at The Wave, as this place is really unique and must stay as it is.
