Stormy sunset at White and Red Canyon
Returning to "White & Red Canyon" in september 2007, Elisabeth and me spent there an awesome moment, probably the best that we ever had in the Southwest.
From half an hour before sunset, we had an incredible light, due to a nearby storm with amazing clouds lighted by the last rays of the sun. It was at the same time
extremely beautiful, surnatural and apocalyptic as there was also a very strong wind carrying sand dust and some big rain drops. A professional photographer would
have settled his tripod and concentrated on taking pictures, but I prefered just to shoot handheld and to enjoy as much as possible this fascinating moment.
