Around Sedona (Arizona)
Despite the crowds, the omnipresent commercial exploitation and the numerous fees, Sedona is still a wonderful gateway to outstanding scenary.
The well-named Red Rock Country, of which Sedona is the center, is among the most spectacular sights of the Southwest and is a hiker's paradise.
What a wonderful National Park this area would have been if it wouldn't have already been settled (and unfortunatly with more and more housing everywhere).
Several days are necessary to visit and photograph the classics in the outskirts of town as some more remote sights and viewpoints located a few miles around.
We also like to come back in this area to visit our friends Kent & Sue in Clarkdale, and Derek in Sedona (have a look here
on his amazing photography).
